The interaction between non-ionic surfactants and cholesterol has been studied by reversed-phase thin-layer chromatography (RP-TLC) using cholesterol impregnated TLC plates and methanol–water mixtures as mobile phases. The RM values obtained were in linear correlation with the methanol concentration of the mobile phase.
